thank god its FRIIIIIIIDAY~!

sup! haha if you are wondering how was my wonderful week at uni it was freaking stress...hahah erm..yea...i had that assignment to do and full day labs and today was the earliest i got home which is before 5 usually i'll be home at like 6 or sth like that O_O but yea easter holidays are here!=D its one week of yay yay then back to uni well...not really for us coz we have SOOOOOO much stuff happening the first week back its not a holiday its a like a free week for us to catch up and study for term tests and course work so yea...with out further ado...lets adjurn to the bentos of the week!

monday!
i fried falafel and roasted some pumpkin and kumara during the weekend! so here it is! i was in a hurry and everything didn really wana get squished in...so yea rice and falafel with cherry tomatoes, salad and roasted pumpkin to eat with black sesame sauce! =D

tuesday!
tuesday i woke up early for some reason and my classes started late so i had time to fili fala in the kitchen to make lunch! haha so i had cucumber sticks with sambal, my tomato, roasted veg, falafel, some chicken salad! and one sad rice ball coz i only had enough rice in the fridge to make one! :P

wednesday
wednesday was my full day! so i had chicken wing and falafel! with roasted veg and cucumber salad! and furikake on my rice! yum! its salty!

thursday!
todays one very special

attack of the sausage alien!! ahha its supposed to be a penguin but when i cooked it i think i cut the arms to wide so it became like alien so i just put some vege stalks on it la hahah
today i took my sweet time as well haha coz i started slightly later than usual! today was egg rice! falefal, squeezed erm vege thingy i have no idea what it is i tot it was rocket salad when i bought it from the korean store but when i opened the pack it had like leaves with the stalks so i guess it aint rocket salad! :P oh i added brussel sprouts too! coz they are yum! =D very fresh tasting! taste even better stir-fried XDD

now! the interesting thing of the week! this week we had a microbiology lab again and we have to like plate our microbes found in the sauerkraut we made. every week we do a plate count and see what grew and stuff this week...
tada! my agar plate! so cool so cool! the white thing its like a mould and looks like popcorn! i was like eeeeeeeeeeee sooo cute and everyone was like ewww thats dissssssssssguuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhsting =( sad...guess im a freak

then we had a jelly lab for product development! where me and my fren made like coffee agar so coffee and cream! we used like industrial colouring and flavouring and worked with the percentages of what we needed to use with trial and error that kinda thing so that was pretty cool! =D then right

when we were making it somthing went wrong in the first batch and the jelly die-ded so we made shark fin soup!

its actually the jelly hahah coz the coffee part did not want to coagulate but the cream phase did so we melted the cream phase and like pour in the coffee coz we tot it set already but it didn so we pour and it became like that and i wanted to throw away so put in plastic bag then really look like shark fin soup! O_O amazing! haha can go and con people outside :P

well in the end for the jelly evaluation, we didn win the like best tasting jelly coz some people didn like coffee so they rated ours really low =( so what ever...but in the end we did win a prize! XDD it was coz we made the effort to go the extra mile to make 2 layers coz everyone else did one only and that means when we make two we need to formulate for like 2 products instead of one that means twice the workload but we managed with..erm...minimal technical difficulties :P and this is what we won!
tada! when the gave out the prizes, it was a tied first place with some random fruit thingy i don rmember i think ginger beer flavour and feijoa and apple flavour and the teacher each gave them a box of favourites chocolates being the group 'favourtie' haha then she was like this is for the group that went the extra mile to make a two layer one and she pulled this out and everyone laughed! =( they tot it was some random oranges but little did they know...
so cool ei? its like orange with like cranberry flavour! it must be like GE food i think cross-breed with orange and cranberry! so cool so cool! ahah and the colour is like pinky in there not really like blood oranges...hmm haha so yea! have not tried it yet! i tot like i'ld wait for saturrrrday!

saturday is our drinking day! XDD yay yay! haha taste it with my team mate! =D

so yea im going to bum for a few days then get to work again beginning next week :P shuucks before the work load suffocates me again :P okies im off to err...bed haha see ya!
