lazy sunday?

JUST finished my smely assignment! omg! haha freaking finally!! just sent it to all the other team members to look at it. asking me for referencing and stuff i guess they can change it! ive done MY PART! so yea its up to them now its a humongous part! i think i did like XX% wakkakak cant tell you! so yea! aaaanyway! hmm what happened this week...oh i was super busy...erm...i went swimming and i went for some international mentor thingy that was pretty cool! =D we had pizza! and they ordered like plain cheese and its so nice! O_O im so amazed...i guess simple flavours are the best! ;)
so! without further ado...its another bento week!

this weeks theme is kinpira! for vege! its erm...jullined how ever you spell it carrots with konnyaku! the ultimate diet food! O_O
monday!oh ho ho nori-ben with seaweed on rice! coz i have so much seaweed i dont know what to do with it :P with my salted salmon, crab weiner, kinpira and on sale cherry tomato!


tuesday
i was sad sth happened on monday =( so for lunch on tuesday i used my special cinnamonoroll paper cup so i felt better =D erm i went to unimart on monday and bought this thing called shiso? erm..sesame leaves sth like that la thats the green thing covering the rice! was pretty late! so i jsut cooked the gyoza that i made and froze the other day

wednesday!
i woke up late again >__< well not really la just was reading manga while munching my breakkie when holy crap! look at the time! ahha so i just packed left overs! rice with my shisho leave and my amazing curry with purple potato! i made it during the weekend well i was kinda procrastinating la...so i decided to experiment and grated the onion making it really smooth. when i cooked it the curry was quite dry but so tasty! XDD i didn put ajinomoto which i always do....ahha i admit it but then it was really good! =D definitely cooking again!

thursday!
thursday was my full day! i had early start then all the way until lab, 5 sth then the international mentor meeting(well they had pizza but yea). so i had a BIG! bento! haha erm its kinpira, salted salmon and octopus weiner! with 3 rolls of rice with chopped shisho leave in nori! and my mayo face! coz i didn wana go to uni =( i was lazy so i drew that hmm...makes me feel better ahah but then when i got to uni and opened my lunch right...the face got squished already O_O oh wells

friday!
i had sandwiches! which i forgot to take photo of :P it was realy yummy tho! amazingly erm...it was a canned fish, coriander, shisho and lettuce sandwich! was in a hurry i only had time to scoff my sandwich down before going to violin. then i had to go back home to get my notes which i forgot stupid me...argh coz i was up late doing my assignment after i got back late again...from uni on thursday coz i was looking up on journal articles to write a research paper on my 353 paper :P so yea!

friday was really warm >w< the leaves were falling down everywhere...it was so pretty! i was walking to get some groceries and felt ~sigh~ autumn is here...pretty pretty =D

finally!! saturday was taken up by assignmenting again! and then sunday more assignmenting! i jsut finished like 4 sth O_O then i realised i have not eaten anything since the morn eks! so i made TOASTIE! =DD
i like 'em toasties!
toast the bread first! and then put baked beans and sliced cheese! the cheese was the cambozola on special! i love it! its camembert with a hint of blue sooo good then put it in the sandwich kiap grill thing and grill the cheese yay yay!

now im off to make my bacon and egg pie for lunch....er..dinner eat bath look at uni stuff and hopefully get an early night! -__-'' feeling blur already my fren sed some of my sentences are non-sense! haha oh wells

its monday! and then its going to be friday soon :P

the days are glopping together becoming one and then by the time you know it...exams are creeping up and everyone wil be crapping in their pants having to get the last of the assignments to finish.
i just wana go and play too! T__T but i have this assignment taht seemed really easy but the more i do it the more complicated its getting to the point im having all my marketing books out and wearing my neardy glasses trying to make head and tail of it coz i have to do pricing for the product that i am intending to make and all so yea... help >__<

the only thing i look forward to for uni is my lunch :P joys of having packed lunch eventhough its packed by me but whatever....ahah i sound so sad but don care :P at least it keeps me going for the next few hours before my brain juice runs out on me. still staring at the book trying to get references off wiki coz i had this marketing report i did in my first year and i cited uni lectures as material which i cannot find anymore so see if i can get a specific book that says it but i think the statement is something the lecturers thought of..hmm.....getting more and more complicated....guess its going to be a long day in uni again

without further...hmm it went back to normal again...stupiaks thing anyway! just featuring the 5 lunches i had this week! =D this week was very the stress lots to do and although i planned my time really well it feels like im going to need more hours in a day to get it done..either that or sacrifice my sleep time and end up acne faced before easter holidays! T__T the shocker!

RICE! ahha with vege pancake, tomatoes, hmm i don remember whats that mysterious thing in the cupcake O_O but the little cut outs are sth interesting! its like a meat loaf thingy that my fren brought and let me try yesterday sth vietnamese! so yummy! XDD so she sed i can bring a piece home so i used it for lunch coz a bit left i just cut shapes makes lunch more exciting!

thursday!
i watched the drama 'voice' the night before and the end was the main character making lunch box for her brother and it was omelette rice so i was like hmm...omelette rice.haha!it was special! coz of the funky face a drew and erm...that black line is the salted salmon i did the other day! =D its really yummy! shud buy summore salmon when its on special and make again...needed a bit more salt tho...i was a bit scared to put too much salt later like kiam hu but when this one is fried its sooo smooth like melt in your mouth texture and it just leaves your mouth clean and ready for more! =D i think coz i didn put as much salt...

friday lunch!
friday bento was on diet bento! haha so i had the vege pancake, tomato and lettuce salad with stir fried carrots and konnyaku! the ultimate diet food! =D with tuna rice and sprinkles! :P that was yummy too!

my salted salmon! it went from light pink to deep orangey colour! i think i like this colour better :P and the paper towel i stuck it to was stuck to it -__-'' so next time i will have to use muslin cloth next time so yea...

anyway! i had the vege pancake made on sunday! how amazing it lasted like the whole week in the fridge and still edible..hmm...what a clean fridge of mine =D still lots to do

yesterday night i went for a singapore club event and it was pretty fun! just chilling and listening to music was pretty good! =D the vocalist was amazing! and erm...what else today was raining pretty heavily in the morn but me being hardcore stil went to the market :P and i bought them veges coz i aint got no more veges! so yea...and then yea...i think im going to make hot cross buns this weekend! =D jsut for easter you know!

oh today i also went to the omsa food fest! was pretty fun! =D ate foods and yea was pretty good! and what else...then we went to some so called anime convention thing but then i was so cheated by it -_-'' but there were a few like cosplayers like full metal alchemist and luke from tales of the abyss which was pretty good but either than that there was nothing :P and here i thought i could get some dvds and stuff...shuucks ah well so that was my eventful weekend!

going to chill now and then start on assignmenting again sigh sigh ah well :P

this weekend was erm...i dono i didn do much and its already sunday i watched my drama =D and what else...made some ginger sauce and sesame sauce so i can use them quickly when i need them :P i bought some salmon today too! and i tried to make salted salmon! see how that goes its erm...dehydrating itself int he fridge coz of the salt need to give it 1-3 days in there

its the weeeekend!

finally finally its the weekend! sigh sign after a long week of soooo much stuff to do its such a breather to have the weekend off. i'll just play the whole day today...which is about to end T_T then tomoro i'll go all out again :P thinking if i shud bake or buy bread...hmmm ah well will get to taht later hahawednesdays lunch! it was soo cold but i decided to eat sandwich coz i bought a nice loaf of ciabatta from new world! =D so packed it with fried egg from the other day erm...tomato, lettuce and beetroot! eventhough its canned its still yummy! =D
thursday! i had curried purple potato and curried carrot! yes the potato is purple! so exciting! =D well it was from dinner the other day la so i just stole a chunk so i can eat it for lunch! what else...erm...the dumplings from the other day with the same filling as the pau and fried egg and rice! with toasted black sesame with beetroot again! and my apple!
this is something ruby gave me! yum yum! you know what it is? its dried soursop candy! her mummy make one and send all the way from vietnam! its soo good im going to go and try make them when im at home =d thats all for now!

the start of another week T__T

todays bento! today was yesterdays lonely left-over cabbage roll theres yummy mince inside =D and simmered softly to perfection so that the cabbage is soft and sweet and the filling is juicy =D. then with fried egg roll, fresh tomato and lettuce and curried carrots! coz i didn wana eat it when i was having curry for dinner on sat :P so i thought keep la and bring on monday! just to complement the rice!

uni was pretty interesting today as usual with david's lectures you think of the world differently now! there was even an article saying that obese people are the cause of global warming -__-''' ahha funny and all sorts of things inside that article!


311 new product development was interesting too we got to taste new foods and talk about it and think about why the company made them and with what motive! we got raspberry and pomegranate jelly thingy which is used like as a complement as a sauce for roasts or sth like that or even on toast with cheese and we needed to talk about it and the price and who's the target market and all. so yea that was interesting too! the only thing uninteresting was that the lecturer,fiona gave us another new report/assignment to do T__Tso yea see my wonderful colourful flags? its all the assignments due for this term yay...how amazing about 10 and still counting still havn't coutn in all the lab reports that i hve to do! sigh sigh ah well this year is so hard on! i don even know if i actually have time to play my violin...ah well when theres a will theres a way! ;)

still need to keep up with all my other course work. so far ive been steadily studying for...one lecture -_-'' im so amazing...i am one week late for the other 2 coz the other paper is a research paper...i don think we have to do anything yet...this week we will be given our topic of choice to research and write a report/thesis on it so yea thats not counted in studying haha ah well so yea so yea! glad i played all thats worth last weekend from this week! no more play play! >_< ! jia you!

cooking!

first week of uni has been stressful so i decided to wind down and start cooking up in the kitchen :P went to market yesterday bought some meats! and erm...what else...think think oh i bought omega plums! they're the bomb! coz the skin aint sour! =DD so anyway! tonights dinner was! up there cabbage roll!
made some filling coz i tot of freezing dumpling so i can bring to uni for lunch and stuff like taht la and then i made some skin for the dumpling and then i got lazy so i tot i'll go to town to buy some today (made the filling yesterday) but then right it rained =( so i just made some pau and stuffed the rest in la then the last bit make cabbage roll! =D no wastage! safe the earth! safe your money! ahah anyway!
apart from that...i did a little baking too! ho ho ho what is it i wonder well i know whats in there la let you wonder...one's going to be eaten here the other over yonder and over the seven seas...well about a few oceans la haha

either than that ive been super lazy this weekend slept in today and trying to recharge for the new week ahead! after this weekend..its going to be HARD OUT! coz i got them assignments and stuff to do and more studying. i don have any idea whats the lecturer talking about for food micro...well i do la but i need to make notes before i forget you know that kinda thing :P

so yea i made a new fren in uni! =D but the thing is that now the teacher wants us to like make groups of 3 and we got 4 in our group -_-'' plus my other fren is like lets make a group of the 3 of us without my new fren :P and im like urgh...im stuck in the middle...i don really wana play the bad guy ugh im always not wanting to play the bad guy and not wanting to ditch ppl. then its like i dono la or she goes in my group and i find other people? >_< why am i worrying for her anyway? but i don want her to be in a situation where shes like i have no group to join and stuff TT__TT what to do...

ah well it will work out i hope O_O!

ive been packing lunch to uni everyday! but i forgot to take picture everytime...i guess coz i don really wana be late for uni for the sake of one photo :P haha ah well but i must remember! that way i got sth to blog about haha so yea well i shall go and erm...enjoy bumming the 2 more hours of my weekend! haha see ya

first week of uni~

the first week of uni is finally over...im already assigned 2 major assignments and a mid-term test the first monday back from easter holidays and a major project on shelf-life studies i guess thats what you call being a final year student. lots to do but i cant help but feel tired all day ugh...whats wrong with me is it the lack of exercise? or is it coz someone is visiting me this month and is waiting to make a grand entrance....by sucking all my life energy T__T

either one it sucks especially when i need my brain to do all the research work ...guess all the energy drinks ahve to make their appearance early this year!

well the vid up there is for all you gundam fans! haha the guys like you hit me right? who'd going to pilot the gundam now! and the real guy sez...i will!! omg they have like arcade gundam cockpit how cool is that!! XDD i sooo must do that in japan! haha one day one day

so yea what else...going to the market tomoro and then after that making kuih momo! =D then after that dono maybe make dumplings or sth for this weeks lunch stash and cook sommore stuff that i can freeze. i got some frozen paus but i need to make sommore and stock up on that for easy acess when im late and got no time to cook lunch :P

so yea lots to do im going to bed now see yah!

second day of uni~

how fast time flies! its like the second day of uni! well not that fast la...sigh sigh trying to enjoy every bit of it before next week when all the labs and assignments start :P my class today starts at 12 =P i have no idea what to do during the waiting time till i go to class coz i have to wake up early by 8 to take the trash out and all...so yea

tomoro i have one class same as today then thursday and friday i have a full day. sounds so breezy ei? one class one class? well coz labs have not started yet! O_O when it does it'll be like one class then lab till 5 and then lab 9-6 with classes in between with reports to pass up so i guess they are 'slowly' easing us into the final year mode O_O

so intense! haha in a way the classes so far have been really interesting and informative lo...still trying to watch all my drama before i have no time for anything. and my tuesday mornings are going to be taken up if i have to go for seminar talks which is related to the research paper im taking woe is me...and i dono when to do my violin lesson if thats the case...maybe friday or sth shud be ok i have to go and talk to her and see how that goes :P not that i have been practiscing...so slack...sigh sigh

well it will all be on full roll starting next week when i'll be super busy/nerdy its going to be pretty exciting! =D

on the other hand, the winter season drama is coming to an end...it has been so exciting! =D almost all the dramas are so entertaining! =D i also have to make my personal timetable for this year and i don even know if i have any space to fit in a part time job in there T__T all this talk about earning money this year is going down the drain again T__T

ah well anyway! gundam 00 has been superb! =D going to season finale soon! guess i shall wait for everything and then marathon everything >_< ok i think i better go and get ready for uni! see ya
