DAY 1
we flew to chc on a sunday...well nothing much there. just that we stayed over at Nina's place and then...i found the most amazing vacuum cleaner there!!!
not only that! got BURST OF POWER arr!!!!we flew off to wlg the next morn.
DAY 2
its so cool getting to check in in the kiosk thing coz you don have to wait for the queue and all you need is your membercard and then you get to choose your seats and dump your bags at a different counter! sweet!!! check in time from 30-40min to 5 min how sweet is that!? technology...well the minute we arrived wlg we took a cab to my aunty's place and we immediately took a bus and went for diiiiiiim suuuuuuum~~ it was super yummy and super amazing! then we went to moore wilson some big place where they sell all the food stuff and baking stuff and i was amazed and they sold this really yummy vegan chocolate cake....how can something so vegan taste so good? you ask me...still dreaming about it...then we went to oriental bay and it was really pretty!

then we had gelato! god...it was really yummy! way better than scoops at home...i had maple walnut and bon bon rocher that tasted exactly like fererro rocher and diana had mango and lemon which was also amazing! then we had korean bbq for dinner and went back to watch tv and eat more cake! hee hee had to wake up early for another new day...DAY 3
got up early to meet up with my fren chavi which was from wlg. we went to see the cable car which people use to go to uni and all that cool ei?

then got seats like this...i tell you no wonder people die so easily last time...-__-'' these seats were like on the outside of the train. then...chavi had to go back already coz she had afternoon plans... so we went back and we saw the most random vandalism...
aww a bear...hahathen we went to the te papa museum after a bit of shopping and it was real really cool!!! they were having the egyptian exhibition there and there was a real mummy in there with all her wrappings and stuff and then there was another one with all thejunk of nz and all that it was like made like a lil shop!
that was inside the museum it looks like a shop right? haha then they had stuff moving about in there
then i got bored and decided to make birds...so yea thats my retard bird! haha
i forgot! we randomly saw this in town...hmmm
and this is me being the sakai tourist! this was taken at cuba st. well its some famous street la...haha with that fountain thingthen after all that we went back to the studio room and then went out for dinner at maria pia! it was soo good! well they are famous for their pasta and we had a wild mushroom risotto, pesto pasta and seafood pasta! they were all super super yummy coz the pasta is made there fresh everyday and what else..the pesto was really good and the seafood pasta came with BLACK spaghetti! its from squid ink! but it was real cool at the same time and they had big big mussles and clams to go with it! mmm....haha
DAY 4
well nothing much for our last day in wlg. we just went around shopping and looking about we did have dim sum again coz it was so good and way cheaper than in dunedin so we ate sooo much and i tried the mago pudding and the egg tarts and they were soo super good...sigh....haha thinking about it now makes me hungry...
this was taken in one of the shopping places...this ones called the old bank coz it used to be a bank! hmm after that nothing much la then we went to borders and bought 'some' books then we went back and had dinner at home and all...my aunty cooked EGGPLANT! yum yum! and the thing is she steamed it and it was equally yummy and NOT OILY! so it was real good! even diana and her son that didn like eggplant at all ate them! so O__O it was really good! haha then after that we got ready for bed and all coz we were flying the first thing in the morningDAY 5
after i called the shuttle the night before i was amazedto see that they were really in time! so we went out at 8am in the morning to catch our 9.15 flight and we were kinda stuck in a jam and all but it was all fine we took a wrong turn and randomly ended up sight see-ing as the driver pointed out that the building he just turned into was the sky scraper that peter jackson used to film king kong! cool ei? well we got there in time and all then the flight was delayed till like 9.25 so yea...wadever juse waited a while coz that time was already like 8.45am. then boarded the plane and back to chc we went. then nothing much la wanted to meet up with my frens but they were all busy and all and had other frens come up to visit them so i didn see any of them..oh well there is always next time i guess...
DAY 6
nothing much la...just roamed around in town and all waiting for the time to pass we met up with nick's fren and we had breakie at the honey pot cafe which was the bomb...sigh fell in love with their hollandaise sauce which is really good! then we went to the illicit store there and ballentynes coz i wanted a new wallet then we had bubble tea...well at least i had it...then we went to riccarton mall and met up with dianas frens and went to dinner at mr OSAKA! and i had the nattou(fermented beans) okonomiyaki(japanese pizza) which was really really good! haha surprisingly...then we went to catch a movie coz we really wanted to watch 300 and we were at the same time tempted by the huge sign on riccarton mall saying HOYTS riccarton the biggest cinema screen in the south island so we went to watch it and i was really impressed by the movie!!! but they killed the cute guy off T_T the son...if you remember him he was the one that the father went berserk after that...yea then we went home for the big day tomorow
DAY 7
my final day in chc and my final day from all the holiday stuff....we went to honey pot cafe again for breakkie coz i like it and so did everyone else! hee hee then we went to catch ARMAGEDDON! there were tonnes of people minutes after we arrived and they had like comics and action figures and dvd's and loads of star trek stuff!
look at me feeling lovely with all the troopers! hahahahha it was really funny! and darth vader behind me...and then there were like signing sessions and i got the sandy cheeks signature which was real cool! haha from spongebob square pants! and there was the script writer for it he was there too! and he was like im the scripwriter and i was like cool! then there were 2 kids behind me and he was like brushes val aside hey kids do you watch spongebob? whats your fav episod? and i was like T__T dom brush me aside...i love spongebob too...but i didn wana say that haha but yea....i really wanted an autograph from him but i was too pai se...like se kia like that...oh well...haha but i got sandy cheeks! hee hee well like that la then we left and we went to timaru to have thai for dinner and then got home....thats the end of the holidays....
SUNDAY
a day of woe....coz uni starts tomorrow...sigh im so freaking SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEN but yea...play song song already use so much money already its time to start STUDYING!what else...made ciabatta again...this time i looked after it so it wasn't burnt and just nice..yum!
see? i even get easter eggs!!! haha from lynn! was so sweet of herwell....thats all folks! hope you enjoyed my wlg/chc trip as much as i did! muahahaha
